Help at Home Recognized by McKnight’s as Tech Innovation Leader

Award Highlights Company’s Achievements Connecting Home Care to Health Care 

[CHICAGO, Ill. – Oct. 8, 2024] – Help at Home, the leading national provider of innovative, in-home, person-centered care, announced today it has been recognized by the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program for its cutting-edge technology connecting home care to health care.  

Help at Home received recognition for the work that reinforces the company’s mission to advance the future of home care through technology and innovations that help seniors and the disabled age in place as healthily and independently as possible at home. 

“We’re honored to have been recognized by a prestigious group of judges as part of McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards,” said Help at Home’s Chief Clinical Officer Marianne Longo. “I’m very proud of the work our teams have accomplished. We’ve combined groundbreaking approaches and technology to advance in-home personal care services, preventing avoidable events, closing gaps in care, and reducing health disparities for underserved populations with complex chronic conditions.” 

Help at Home’s innovative programs placed as finalists in multiple categories, taking Silver in the “Innovative Care Plan” category. The company was recognized for its first-of-its-kind technology supporting caregivers in the homes an average of 20 hours per week in data collection. The data collected is then analyzed with AI-driven output and alerts to guide the clinical home care team in real-time interventions to significantly address health inequities and reduce adverse incidents and hospitalizations. This results in demonstrable quality, cost and satisfaction improvements for the company’s home care clients, partners as well as caregivers.
