Help at Home Recognized by Forbes as One of Indiana’s Best Employers

Accolades Reiterate Company’s Success From Its “Caring for the Caregiver” Culture

CHICAGO, Ill. – October 30, 2024 – Help at Home, the leading national provider of high-quality, in-home care services, announced today that it has been recognized as a Forbes Best Employer in Indiana for 2024. The recognition underscores the company’s commitment to its culture of caring for the caregiver and for its employees.

Help at Home’s retention rates are nearly double the industry average, and the company experiences higher than average caregiver Net Promoter Scores (NPS). The stability of the company’s caregiver workforce and the ability to recruit and hire at scale have proved to be a driving force behind Help at Home’s growth.

“Forbes’ acknowledgement is a testament to the enduring success of our 50-year history of prioritizing employees and caregiver support,” said Help at Home’s Chief Human Resources Officer Michelle Bonfilio. “Help at Home’s dedication to cultivating a workplace that celebrates our team’s contributions empowers career advancement and nurtures a true sense of belonging. This powerful approach not only drives exceptional retention rates and long tenures, but also inspires our employees and caregivers taking care of clients and providing Great Days and Meaningful Moments to them every day.”

Help at Home’s nearly 60,000 employees are at the heart of everything the company does. The company’s culture of caring for its caregivers is especially important because they are in the homes making a difference every day for clients. Help at Home is committed to creating an environment that recognizes this significant work and providing employees with career growth opportunities that help build a sense of belonging. To that end, the company has invested in the areas of technology and innovation, striving to become an employer of choice positively impacting the communities where its employees live and serve. Its caregiver base has grown by almost 50 percent in the past three years, with a retention rate nearly double the industry average.

In addition to this most recent recognition, Help at Home is proud to have earned multiple accolades from Forbes as a “Best Workplace” and Newsweek as a “Greatest Workplace” over the past several years.

To create the 2024 best employers list, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 people within the United States. Respondents were asked to evaluate employers they’d worked for within the past two years. Companies that received the highest scores in each state made the list, with each state ranking between three and 101 employers.
